What If I Meet Him Tomorrow? (A Beggar with Gifts)
Why Are You Bald? (The Bald Song)

Fairy Ring
Sweet heart your poet's pen hath wrought
Rose air with just this kiss
Your skin and all your senses
Were made for times like this
Your dreamer's eyes are fine and keen
Yet waking we can sing
So come and be my Fairy Queen
And I will be your King
Yes come and be my Fairy Queen
And I will be your King
Our hearts will beat the magic song
That makes the fairy ring
For love can cast its circle
Wherever there are two
Yet love could never dream a heart
More full of warmth for you
The moon in rainbowed glory
Adorns a sparkling sky
So do not sleep, my lover dear
And let your life slip by
Do come and be my Fairy Queen
And I will be your King
Our hearts will beat the magic song
That makes the fairy ring
Yes let us seize the moment now
From sleepy night and days
And let us ever be the ones
To challenge tired ways
Your dreamer's eyes are fine and keen
Yet, waking we can sing
So come and be my Fairy Queen
And I will be your King

How Can I Tell You?
How can I tell you the things that I’ve learned when they’ve taken a lifetime to know
How can I show you the things that I love when there are some places words never go?
Worlds that are shining inside crystal spheres
Treasures are hiding inside all your tears
Sunlight in forests, as ancient as old
Dancing with rainbows that all lead to gold
When you let them
Please won’t you let them?
How can I tell you the things that I know when I’m still finding out for myself?
How can I speak of the life that I love when there are some things that words cannoit tell?
Games like the ones that you knew in your youth
Hide and Seek riddles that lead to the truth
Dances that leave you all breathless inside
Laughter like children who race with the tide,
And they smile.
Oh how we’ll smile.
How can I tell you the things that I’ve learned when they’ve taken a lifetime to know?
How can I show you the world that I love when it’s hidden where words cannot go?
Pains that are bitter as spices and Myrrh
Deserts to cross when you’ve no clothes to wear
Times when you’ll feel that you haven’t a friend
And I’ll hold you
Please let me hold you
How can I tell you the things that I know when I’m still finding out for myself?
How can I speak of the life that I love when there are some things that words never tell?
Music that reaches inside of your soul
Notes run together to songs that are whole
Lives that are moving like harmony lines
Growing and turning and always in time
‘Cause we’re lovers
We love each other
How can I tell you the things that I’ve learned when they’ve taken a lifetime to know?
How can I show you the world that I love when it’s hidden where words cannot go?
How can I tell you the things that I know when I’m still finding out for myself?
How can I speak of the life that I love when there are some things that words never tell?

Dancing Stars
Based on an original poem by Kathryn Jurik, music by Star Tom
If all the galaxies of space and rhyme
While hurling out to be apart
Give light that shines the origin of time
Where can I stand to look inside the heart?
And is it something that I want to see?
The start of all that can be known
Immeasurable and small infinity
Before the life of time was sown
Before the life of time was sown
Before the life of time was sown
Yet all the elements of you and me
Began inside that deepest space
Somehow it's true that in your eyes I see
An ancient star turned to a human face
An ancient star turned to a human face
An ancient star turned to a human face
Dancing stars thrown apart
Everywhere I stand, I see your heart
(repeat with joy)

Childhood's Ending
All my life,
don't want to see
just let me be
Don't know why
Don't want to know
just let me grow
Now is childhood's ending
Trees the wind is bending
Fears and dreams are blending
Now is childhood's ending
Now a man
Changed from a boy
Grown up with joy
Here I am
Just look at me
What do you see?
Now is childhood's ending
Trees the wind is bending
Fears and dreams are blending
Now is childhood's ending
Life expands
I like this place
Goodness and grace
My new plan
Love what I do
Share it with you!
Now is childhood's ending
Trees the wind is bending
Fears and dreams are blending
Now is childhood's ending

Newhope
Newhope is warm, Newhope is kind
Loving all the world, everyone she finds!
We believe in dreams. Won't let them die.
We believe in love. You don't need to ask us why.
Because there's hope in every night, hope in every day
Won't you open up your heart to some new hope this way?
Yes there's hope in every night, hope in every day
Won't you open up your heart to some new hope this way?
She healed the sick. She helped the poor.
But she could only heal when they opened up the door.
Wishing you new hope, wishing you new light
Wishing you new joy, that's why we're here tonight!
Because there's hope in every night, hope in every day
Won't you open up your heart to some new hope this way?
Yes there's hope in every night, hope in every day
Won't you open up your heart to some new hope this way?
Hope can bring you joy, and joy can bring you light.
Light can bring you rainbows. Won't you thank the Lord for light?
Hope can bring you joy, and joy can bring you light.
Light can bring you rainbows. Won't you thank the Lord for light?
Because there's hope in every night, hope in every day
Won't you open up your heart to some new hope this way?
Yes there's hope in every night, hope in every day
Won't you open up your heart to some new hope this way?

Giving And Receiving
These words are etched upon your mind
You've heard the phrase a thousand times
It's holier to give, It's holier to give than to receive
Can you believe?
And now I'm here to say to you
These words are part of what is true
It's holy, YES, to give
It's holy, YES, to give
And to recieve is holy too.
Giving and receiving
Are two sides of one coin
Giving and receiving
Oh what a joy
I said that giving and receiving
Are two sides of one coin
Giving and receiving
Oh what a joy!
When we receive we give a chance
To all our friends who want to dance
A chance for them to give
A chance for them to give
What we receive
Can you believe?
Giving and receiving
Are two sides of one coin
Giving and receiving
Oh what a joy
I said that giving and receiving
Are two sides of one coin
Giving and receiving
Oh what a joy!
So here's that newer phrase for you
Repeat the words until they're true
It's holy, YES, to give
It's holy, YES, to give
And to recieve is holy too.
Is holy too,
Is holy too…

High-Flying Dreamer
We need someone to give us something that's worth living for.
Your life shows us how it's done.
We can see that there is really something that's worth giving for.
Your love shines with the light of a million bright-burning stars,
Helps us look in to find out who we really are.
High-flying dreamer, OH, you dance with the stars and the sun
High-flying dreamer, WELL, your time has come.
High-flying dreamer, YOU KNOW, you dance with the stars and the sun
High-flying dreamer, WELL, your time has come.
This world's forgotten what it can do.
This world is looking for something true.
So many people, searching for home.
That's why I'm telling you, your time has come.
High-flying dreamer, OH, you dance with the stars and the sun
High-flying dreamer, WELL, your time has come.
High-flying dreamer, YOU KNOW, you dance with the stars and the sun
High-flying dreamer, WELL, your time has come.
High-flying dreamer, OH, you dance with the stars and the sun
High-flying dreamer, WELL, your time has come.
High-flying dreamer, YOU KNOW, you dance with the stars and the sun
High-flying dreamer, WELL, your time has come.
Your time has come. Your time, your time, your time
Your time has come!

Magic Circles
The colors moving in the sky tonight
Are fading in and out an ancient tune
A thousand auras in one dancing flight
Of magic circles playing ‘round the moon
Magic Circles playing ‘round the moon
Weaving colors on the night sky's loom
Magic Circles playing ‘round the moon
Fading in and out and ancient tune
(Twinkle, Twinkle melody)
The clouds that pass explode the color dance
Enfolding rainbows into deepest blacks
Expanding and reflecting they enhance
The brightness bouncing onto billow backs
Of Magic Circles playing 'round the moon
Weaving colors on the night sky's loom
Magic Circles playing 'round the moon
Fading in and out and ancient tune
(Twinkle, twinkle melody )
Awake I weave into this wondrous play
Of colors, clouds and folding in the sky
Oh come with me so you might see the way
The moon's bright game invites your dreamer's eye
To Magic Circles playing 'round the moon
Weaving colors on the night sky's loom
Magic Circles playing 'round the moon
Fading in and out and ancient tune
(Row, Row, Row melody)
I reach for you and we are one
Ah the moon and you and me
I reach for you and we are one
Ah the moon and you and me
Ah the moon and you and me
Ah the moon and you and me

THE ONE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Imagine there's a magic force in back of everything
Imagine you can change the world by things you think and sing
Imagine that the life you want is just a thought away
Imagine how you'd use that power if you had it today
Then you would be the one to change your life
And you would be the one to make it right
There is a force that touches every part of everything
There is a way that you can choose the blessings that it brings
There is a power that we call God that's with us every day
There is a time that we call now to pick a better way
Cause truth is, you're the one to change your life
And truth is, you're the one to make it right
Cause God loves you
God loves you
Yes God loves you
Now you might think that everything would change in such a flash
And you might think that you'd be King, with love and cars and cash
But you might think a moment now before you buy that car
‘Cause you might think of reasons why you've made things how they are
And you are still the one to change your life
And you are still the one to make things right
Imagine that you've used the power the very best you can
There is a time that comes when you still need a bigger plan
Now you might think that your first choice is good as it can be
Know the truth that God's advice can help you to be free
‘Cause God loves you
God loves you
Yes God loves you

The Hawk in My Tree
One night I lay struggling in misery and pain.
I made a decision to not stay the same.
I thought, Tom you can choose what your future will be.
In the morning I found I had new strength in me.
Well I changed my life and the hawk came to me.
Opened my window, he was there in my tree.
It's common enough to see hawks up above,
But this hawk was bringing me love,
This hawk was bringing me love.
I sought out a woman whose words I've found wise
To see what she'd think of this hawk from the skies.
She said, “Spirit's reminding you, you can see far,
And use your best powers, whatever they are
Use your best powers, whatever they are.”
So I picked up a pencil, guitar and my book
I'm close by the window where I can still look
At the now-empty branch where hawk sat in my tree
And I'm giving my thanks for the love he brought me.
I'm giving my thanks for the love he brought me.
Now I'll use my best powers whatever they are
I'll SING, LOVE and WRITE from first light to last star.
And wherever I look, you can be sure I'll see
The beauty and power of the Hawk in my tree,
The beauty and power of the Hawk in my tree,
The beauty and power of the Hawk in my tree!

What If I Meet Him Tomorrow?
(A Beggar with Gifts)
I lived in a small country valley
Where people were set in their ways
But times were a-changing,
the world rearranging
And looking for happier days.
One day I heard tell of a stranger,
A curious, half-naked man
No name would he give,
but he knew how to live
A son of his mother earth's land.
And what if I meet him tomorrow?
What if he greets me this morn?
Who is this man with the bowl in his hand?
And what has he really come for?
He frightened the folk of the village
For their hearts knew nothing but fear
he hurt not a soul, he said peace was his goal
But those who won't listen can't hear
They called him a rogue and a wanderer
They chased him and beat him like hell
They taunted and teased him, but that wouldn't please them,
They wanted to see blood as well.
And what if I meet him tomorrow?
What if I meet him today?
What would I do if he asked me for food
I sure wouldn't turn him away.
Now some people cried for his vengeance
he said, “I'll have naught of the kind.”
They said, “We'll get even, those drunkards will see then,”
But that thought was far from his mind.
He told us that peace was his motto
He proved he was true to his word.
As I have grown older, his story's been told me
His teachings I have often heard.
And what if I meet him tomorrow?
What if I meet him today?
Would he still be just as loving and free
As he was in my youngest days?
Would he still be just as loving and free
As he was in my youngest days?

You Have Your Gifts
You have your gifts,
I have mine
Truth be told,
We can let them shine
Shine all night
Shine all day
Everything's gonna work out OK

Air in Your Hair
By Star Tom and the Fitch Mountain School Daycamp CILTS
Hanging at the skate park, having some fun
Gonna do some tricks in the hot, hot sun
Gonna do a Pop Shove it and kick back to a grind
I know I'll get it right, give it one more try
And the air in your hair
Feels like you're flying
And the air in your hair
When you bring it down
And the air in your hair
Feels like you're flying
Gonna take it over the top
All over this town
Finally got a grab on my newest trick
360 with a kickflip, it was slick
Good thing I was wearing all my gear today
'Cause one time when I tried it someone got in my way
And the air in your hair
When you bring it down
And the air in your hair
Feels like you're flying
Gonna take it over the top
All over this town
Chilling out at Daycamp with some kid
"Did you see Tony Hawk and that 900 he did?”
"I busted a 540 down at Carson today.”
"Did you really do it? NO WAY!”
And the air in your hair
When you bring it down
And the air in your hair
Feels like you're flying
Gonna take it over the top
All over this town
Gonna take it over the top
All over this town
Gonna take it over the top
All over this town

Chickens Have Two Legs/ Hard Boiled!
Chickens have two legs
And they are not pigs
They are Lord of Eggs
HARD BOILED
Big ol' hairy man
With a frying pan
"Catch me if you can"
HARD BOILED
When will this all end?
Chickens are our friends
Cows and pigs are too
We'll put them in a zoo!
HARD BOILED
"Let me go please."
"I'll scramble you with cheese."
"No, no, no, no, please."
HARD BOILED
When will this all end?
Chickens are our friends
Cows and pigs are too
We'll put them in a zoo!
HARD BOILED
Chickens fighting back
Making their attack
Eggs are going "SMACK!"
HARD BOILED
When will this all end?
Chickens are our friends
Cows and pigs are too
We'll put them in a zoo!
HARD BOILED
HARD BOILED
HARD BOILED

I like a lot of things
I like the happiness they bring
And I like a lot of people, too
And you know I really like you

Jack the Lantern
Jack the Lantern was a Jack-o-Lantern
He came to see us play.
Well he had two eyes and a big old smile
And he watched us both night and day.
Jack the Lantern was a Jack-o-Lantern
He was a grinning fool.
He would smile like he knew everything
But he never did go to school.
Jack the Lantern was a Jack-o-Lantern
He stayed awake all night.
When the dark came down all over the town
That's when you would see his light.
Jack the Lantern was a Jack-o-Lantern
He was a smiley guy.
He would grin and grin like telling a joke
But he never would tell you why.
Jack the Lantern was a Jack-o-Lantern
He started turning green.
Well he may not be around today
But he made our Halloween.
No, he may not be around today
But he made our Halloween.

Sad Fish Song
I'm just a fish in the sea
Trying to be the finest fish that I can be
But there's a million things a-worrying me
Please pity me
I want to whine, I want to wail
I want to thrash around my tail
I want to be the finest fish in the sea
Poor little me
I'm so sad, I'm so blue
I've got so many things
I'm going through
All the other fish
Are crying too
What can I do?
I want to whine, I want to wail
I want to thrash around my tail
I want to be the finest fish in the sea
Poor little me
I've got an ache in my fin
I can't believe this is happening again
Maybe soon I will forget how to swim
Prospects are dim
I want to whine, I want to wail
I want to thrash around my tail
I want to be the finest fish in the sea
Poor little me

Why Are You Bald? (The Bald Song)
Everybody wants to know "Why are you bald?'
"Did you do something wrong? Did you grow too tall?'
No, I didn't do anything wrong at all
And I'm happy with my hair.
Everybody's hairs fall out one by one
If you brush your hair and look then you'll see some
And you grow some new ones in when those are done
But where my head is bare, that's where new ones never come.
But why's your head so shiny up on top?
Did you put some polish on it from the furniture shop?
No I didn't wax or rub it and I hope it doesn't stop
'Cause I like that skin up there.
On the radio and TV there are ads
And they tell me that losing my hair is bad.
And they go on talkin' 'bout it like I am sad
What I guess they didn't know is that I am really glad
'Cause I like my shiny head, it makes me smile
And I'm planning to keep it for a really long while...
When I get out of the shower I am dry and ready while
Everybody else is wet and drippy, dripping for a mile
But if you have a hairy head that's OK
'Cause there need to be some people who look that way
And you really never know, it could happen one day...
That when your hairs fall out that's the way that they will stay!

The Zucchini Song
(Tune of Ric Masten's Barbie Doll song, use granted by Ric Masten)
Well you start with one small seed,
that is all you really need,
With zucchini, once that vine is freed!
Oh you don't plant very many zucchini
'cause their growth is guaranteed!
Zucchini, zucchini!
Oh what a perfect world this word would be
If the only food we ate was zucchini!
Oh zucchinis grow just fine, you can find them anytime
On a healthy, sturdy, indestructible vine.
No I don't need any of your zucchini
'cause there's more than enough of mine!
Zucchini, zucchini!
Oh what a perfect world this word would be
If the only food we ate was zucchini!
World hunger at an end, every nation is our friend
'Cause there's always plenty left for us to send.
No, you can't go to war over zucchini
Cause we're happy to give some to them
Zucchini, zucchini!
Oh what a perfect world this word would be
If the only food we ate was zucchini!
When zucchini season's through there is little you can do
But through away a slimy one or two.
No you can't save any of your zucchini
'Cause they always just turn into goo.
Zucchini, zucchini!
Oh what a perfect world this word would be
If the only food we ate was zucchini!
